What satisfaction it is for me to present K.D. Hardy to you and your community. K.D. attended a class that I taught while he was incarcerated at the Mecklenburg County Jail in Charlotte, NC. At that time I saw a young man determined to right his wrongs and to give back to the communities that he had previously offended.
Kerry Hardy has done just that. K.D. exemplifies what it means for one to own his mistakes. He learns from them, and through this has become a stronger person in the process.. K.D. is devoted to his family and his community, an individual that now, as he declared he would do, give back to those he once took. K.D Hardy’s program for youth is amazing to say the least. Not only is it practical, its personal. He is so relatable! Youth today need a voice like his amidst all the others they are hearing. KD speaks the truth in an engaging, revelatory manner that meets youth right where they are without alienating them.
